The Downtown Pipeline Project was a multi-year gas main upgrade project serving downtown Baltimore, near the Midtown Belvedere and Mount Vernon neighborhoods. This project replaced over 100-year-old underground gas infrastructure with modernized equipment that provides gas pressure that better meets the demands of modern gas appliances and reduces susceptibility to leaks and extended outages.
